Hello,

I was wondering if the Eclipse community has any presence on Libera.chat (moreover on any IRC server). I remember that there was an Eclipse channel on freenode, but I couldn't find the respective channel on Libera.chat. I figured IRC would be optimal for asking ad-hoc questions about Eclipse.

The IRC channel, unfortunately, had next to no traffic for years before the Libera.chat split. Discussions were happening on mattermost.eclipse.org, but now that's being retired in favor of https://chat.eclipse.org/ , see https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/helpdesk/-/issues/2223.
